unit is great for a family of up to four. A convenient folding
futon, perfect for kids, is stored in the living room closet
and the living room couch folds out to a double bed. The
lanai opens directly to a huge lawn, giving the condo a
spacious feel.
Every
evening families gather to watch the sunset on the great
lawn. It’s perfect for spontaneous games of soccer,
whiffle ball, frisbee, and tag.
Kids
love Kiahuna’s beach. The beach-side activity hut
has complimentary beach toys and they rent boogie boards
too. For young aspiring surfers, lessons are available.
The
calm lagoon at the end of the beach is great for the little
ones. It’s loaded with colorful tropical fish and
a perfect spot to teach a kid to snorkel.

Also,
nice shallow and calm lagoons and playgrounds can be found
at Poipu Beach Park and Lydgate Park. Poipu Beach Park
is just a quarter mile away. Lydgate Park, about 45 minutes
by car, has a fantastic climbing structure and picnic
area.
Kiahuna
Swim & Tennis Club, across the street from the resort,
features a new swimming pool with waterfalls, a slide
and a sandy-bottom children's lagoon.
Kids
also love the weekly hula show right across the street
in Poipu Village Shopping Center (check for show days
and times).
